We are seeking an experienced Senior Authorised Person Technician (SAP Trained) for High Voltage systems to support safety-critical HV activities in an automotive environment.
Details:
- Pay rate: £26 per hour
- Shifts: Rotating (Morning/Afternoons)
- Work type: High Voltage Battery assembly
- Contract: 6 Months
Key Responsibilities
- Act as SAP for HV systems in line with site and OEM safety rules
- Control HV isolation, re-energisation, and permit-to-work processes
- Ensure safe systems of work and compliance with HV regulations
- Provide technical oversight to APs, technicians, and contractors
Essential Requirements
- Current SAP (High Voltage) authorisation
- Proof of SAP qualification and competency (mandatory)
- Proven experience operating as an SAP in a live HV environment
- Willingness to complete interview and competency assessment
Desirable
- SAP (Senior Authorised Person) Automotive OEM or EV/HV experience
