The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
Shift 06:00-14:30 and 14:30-23:00 rotating each week Mon-Fri
Pay: £13.00ph
The Store person reports directly to the Supervisor or Deputy Supervisor and is responsible for booking stock in and out of the re-work areas and updating OEM systems.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Receiving, storing, assembling, packing and/or unpacking of goods as well as delivering goods from the store to the Inspection area.
- Banding of pallets and carrying/moving goods around the Inspection area.
- Using the OEM specific system for all requirements (Stock Transfer, Downgrade Pallet, Cancel Transaction, Check incoming stock, Material location, Removal flag etc.).
- Completing complaint returns with return deliveries and scrap items.
- Supporting the Supervisor staff in ensuring the re-work areas are kept to a high standard and that all Inspectors are working to process.
- Ensuring a high standard of inspector attire/appearance and housekeeping is maintained.
- If required, personally carrying out the required inspection activities as needed in accordance with the project Test Plan.
- Ensuring clear immediate communication to the Supervisor on any Project concerns.
- Maintaining the work area in a neat and tidy manner consistent with defined Group requirements.
- Ensuring a smart personal professional image (e.g. no visible body jewellery) and wearing a clean presentable uniform and any required personnel protective equipment.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction by being flexible and courteous at all times.
- Being proactive in suggestions for improvement.
- Continually seeking to become more multi-competent.
- Being fully involved in the discussions on team performance.
- Any other duties for which the Store person holds the appropriate skills.
The ideal Storesperson will have the following experience:
- Well organized with strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Proactive, self-motivated, enthusiastic, can-do approach towards work.
- Able to work effectively both on an individual level and as part of a team.
Nominated Deputies: In the absence of the Store person, a Deputy Supervisor, Supervisor or a nominated Inspector will substitute.
This is a permanent position with progression opportunities available - Candidates must have the independent right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not available.
