We are currently recruiting for experienced BIW Technicians to join a prestigious automotive manufacturer based in Gaydon. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-end automotive environment supporting prototype and production vehicle builds, carrying out detailed body preparation and rectification work to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sanding, filling, and priming vehicle body panels
  • Identifying and correcting low spots and high spots
  • Flattening and preparing panels for paint and finishing processes
  • Carrying out small reworks and cosmetic rectification
  • Working to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
  • Supporting build and manufacturing teams where required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within BIW, body preparation, or automotive finishing
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Experience working within automotive manufacturing, prototype, or motorsport environments preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good understanding of body panel preparation techniques
