We are seeking an Automotive prepper to join our team working in Body In White on pre painted panels. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality service. The project will involve working in Body in White (BIW), rectifying and repairing prep issues before the car moves onto the paint shop.
Previous experience as a paint sprayer, prepper or in a similar role is preferred. Experience in an automotive environment is essential. Experience across all aspects of automotive/industrial painting including prepping, polishing, sanding and priming is required. Knowledge of different types of paints, primers, and finishes is necessary.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in automotive prepping is essential
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Customer service skills to interact with clients effectively
- Ability to commute/relocate: CV35
Pay: £22.00 per hour (inside IR35)
Shift Allowance:
- Hours: 2 shift rotation
- 06:00am - 14:00pm (Mon-Fri) / 14:00pm - 01:00am (Mon-Thurs)
- 15% Increase in hourly pay rate for night shift.
Job Type: Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 - 12 Months
Expected hours: 40 per week
