We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Prescribing Paramedic to join our clinical team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care, supporting safe and effective prescribing, and improving patient outcomes across a range of clinical services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient consultations and clinical assessments
- Prescribe medications safely and appropriately as an Independent Prescriber
- Perform structured medication reviews and medicines optimisation
- Support management of chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and COPD
- Monitor treatment effectiveness and manage side effects or medication changes
- Provide advice and education to patients regarding medicines and treatment plans
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with professional standards
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
