We are seeking an enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our dedicated, friendly team at Talybont Surgery. The Practice Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a primary care setting.
- Administer injections, including childhood immunisations, travel vaccines and many others
- Provide wound care, managing dressings and referring into secondary care where appropriate
- Provide smear checks
- Provide advice and monitoring for chronic disease management
- Communicate with other health professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain compliance with practice protocols, guidelines, and national clinical standards.
We are also a training practice and are actively involved in supporting the development of future clinicians. We currently host two GP Registrars as well as undergraduate medical students, and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to a supportive teaching and learning environment within the practice.

Our clinical team currently consists of six GPs (including four salaried and two partners), two GP Registrars, two Prescribing Pharmacists, a Mental Health Practitioner, a Womens Health Specialist Nurse, two Practice Nurses and a Healthcare Assistant (HCA). The clinical team is supported by an experienced and friendly administrative, reception and management team.
