We are seeking a motivated and committed Healthcare Assistant with training and experience in immunisations, to join our supportive, enthusiastic and friendly team.
You will be working alongside our existing Practice Nurses and HCAs to develop the service we currently offer our patients. You will be supporting our GPs with family planning and minor surgery sessions. You will be fully supported by our GPs & practice management team and as a patient-focused practice, in-turn you will be asked to deliver the highest quality service to our patients and our practice community. The successful applicant will be a dynamic individual, able to evidence the relevant qualifications and experience.
Main duties of the job
The candidate will demonstrate flexibility and have excellent communication skills to include the ability to deal with sensitive information and able to work with staff of all disciplines. Prior experience of working in a GP Practice setting is desirable. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop clinical skills.
We are forward thinking, adaptable and offer the highest level of patient care for a large patient population. You will be working from two sites, with a varied patient demographic.
The team includes GP\'s, Physician Associates, ANP\'s, PN\'s, HCA\'s and Pharmacists who all provide clinical support. You will deliver care within the boundaries of your role.

Castle Gate Medical Practice (formerly Chippenham Surgery) has been providing medical care to local patients since approximately 1840. Since then we have grown to provide care for a list size currently standing at approximately 14,260 patients - and increasing. Following a recent merger we have a branch surgery in Raglan (9 miles from Monmouth). We have 9 GPs working at our Practice in addition to a great team of other clinicians, receptionists, admin and support staff. We encourage our healthcare professionals to develop their own professional development plans, allowing individuals time to teach and study. We are a registered training Practice for Registrars and medical students.
