Welcome to Taff Riverside Practice, Cardiff. We are a 4 GP/Partner practice with a team including nurse, HCA and our excellent reception/admin team. In normal circumstances we operate a walk-in morning surgery, requesting patients arrive before 10 am. In the current Covid-19 climate, we have altered to a total telephone triage service, with the same timings. Our reception team will take brief details of each patient's concern, triaging them elsewhere as appropriate. On a normal day we will limit, to the best of our ability, and excluding any emergencies, to a maximum of 18 patients for each doctor. It is unusual that this number is exceeded. We also offer, where appropriate, for patients to send photographs for review or, currently using AccurX, to complete a video consultation.
