We are a high QAIF achieving practice, sharing clinical knowledge and experience in a rural GP Practice which supports undergraduate teaching from Cardiff University.We also commit to the local Community Hospital in Dolgellau.In general, the post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.Main duties of the job Manage patient caseloads and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting and undertake additional professional roles and responsibilities as agreed at appointment.Ensure awareness, compliance and undertaking of all relevant practice policies/guidelines, e.g. prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety.The successful applicant should also effectively communicate and respect the privacy, dignity, needs and beliefs of patients, carers and colleagues, and behave in a welcoming manner that is non judgmental to the individual, respecting their circumstances, feelings priorities and rights.About us Located in sunny Barmouth, where the mountains meet the sea. Minfor Surgery is a seaside town with plenty to offer.There are two Clinical Partners and a non-clinical Managing Partner, a list size of 4100 patients. A friendly, flexible and relaxed team.Job responsibilities Job Description for Salaried GPSalaried GP: At Minfor Surgery, Park Road, Barmouth, Gwynedd, LL42 1PL.Hours of work: 4 – 6 Sessions a week.
