You will be joining a friendly and supportive clinical team of GPs, practice nurses and health care assistants.
Main duties of the job:
- To prepare consulting rooms, monitor, order and maintain clinical stock levels and manage stock rotation as agreed with the practice nurses.
- Health screening of patients with pre-diabetes, undertaking health checks, blood glucose monitoring, venepuncture and diabetic foot checks.
- ECG.
- Monitor fridge temperatures in accordance with practice policy.
- Assist GPs in providing minor surgery.
- Removal of stitches.

Job responsibilities:
We are a forward-thinking training practice, supportive of continued development and focused on providing high-quality patient care to over 11,000 patients. This is a permanent role, offering 14-16 hours per week, to include a competitive salary, dependent on experience, NHS pension and on-site parking.
Person Specification:
- Qualifications: Qualified to NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care, qualified in phlebotomy, qualified to level 3.
- Experience: Experience of working within a nursing team, experience of working within general practice, experience of working within primary care, experience of working alone.
