Penrhyn Bay & Deganwy Medical Centre is a friendly and highly regarded practice with a list size of 6500 patients, situated on the North Wales coast close to Llandudno. We are looking for a GP to join our practice as a GP Partner or salaried GP with a view to partnership in the future. We offer flexibility in the number of sessions with flexible surgery sessions to suit work-life balance. Special interests will be facilitated and encouraged. We will support academic and clinical management issues and professional development. The practice will become a training practice soon and support will be given to applicants willing to become trainers. We are willing to mentor new or returning GPs.
Main duties of the job: The GP will be responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS Contract. They will adhere to the GMC standards for good clinical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example and maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.

Job responsibilities: The main practice is situated in Penrhyn Bay with a branch surgery in Deganwy with a list size of 6500 with 1 Senior Partner, 2 Salaried GPs, 2 P/Ns & a HCA with excellent administrative support. We offer flexible surgery sessions to suit work life balance and generous annual leave and family friendly holidays are encouraged. We are right on the North Wales Coast and very close to Snowdonia National Park. There are no buying in costs and excellent links to Chester, Liverpool & Manchester. The practice holds a Certificate of Sponsorship.
Person Specification:
- Full GMC Registration On the National GP Register.
- MRCGP Vocational Training Certificate.
- Experience in working in a primary care setting.
- Experience working with the EMIS system.
