G & P Healthcare Ltd is a dedicated healthcare and social care provider specialising in nursing and care services across multiple locations. Our aim is to deliver compassionate, high-quality care that enhances the well-being of our clients and supports their independence.

We are seeking Female Support Workers (client will only accept females) to join a brand new team in providing support to an amazing young lady who has recently acquired a spinal injury. She requires support with daily activities, personal care, continence care, social outings etc. She would like to live a life of a young woman and requires support to achieve this. Support will be in her own home in the DH1 region of Durham.

Hours: Days are 9.00am til 9.00pm. Waking night 9.00pm till 9.00am. Sleeping night is waking from 9.00pm til 1am then sleeping 1am until 9am. (Sleeping helps waking night with cares for first part of the night.)

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • At least 1 year care experience in the UK
  • Not be on a sponsorship or visa and be able to work in the UK
  • Must be a car driver and have a valid UK drivers licence and be willing to drive the client's wheelchair accessible vehicle
  • Have a degree of flexibility
  • Experience of supporting someone with a spinal injury advantageous
  • Compassionate attitude with a focus on client well-being.
