We’re looking for a skilled Inspection / CMM Programmer to join our quality team, working on high-performance components — including products within our F1 range. This hands‑on role is key to ensuring the highest standards of dimensional accuracy, quality, and documentation throughout the inspection process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general inspection duties as directed by the Principal Inspector and as detailed on Product Inspection Requests (PIRs)
  • Liaise with Engineering, SQA, and Quality teams to resolve product or supplier issues
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings to create ISIR documentation
  • Use hand measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, and shadowgraphs
  • Program CMM machines (Calypso or PC-DMIS software preferred) for F1 product inspections
  • Support the use of 3D scanning and surface finish equipment (experience desirable but not essential)
  • Maintain accurate and timely inspection records and documentation
  • Uphold high standards of housekeeping and contribute to continuous improvement across the business
  • Support other teams with measurement or quality‑related issues as required

About You

  • Proven experience in an inspection or quality control role within precision engineering or automotive/manufacturing
  • Strong CMM programming skills (Calypso or PC-DMIS ideal)
  • Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Hands‑on experience with manual measurement tools
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally
  • Knowledge or experience of working with F1 or motorsport components is advantageous
