PDI Technician , carrying out end‑of‑line inspections to ensure vehicles meet the required quality, safety, and presentation standards before release.
Role Overview
You’ll complete full Pre‑Delivery Inspections (PDI) on finished vehicles, following structured processes and checklists to identify defects, confirm functionality, and ensure the vehicle is ready for customer handover
Key Responsibilities
- Complete full whole‑vehicle PDI checks, including exterior, interior, and functional testing.
- Carry out visual inspections for paint, bodywork, trim, and alignment issues.
- Perform basic functional tests on lights, windows, locks, mirrors, infotainment, and safety features.
- Identify, record, and elevate defects using the correct reporting process.
- Ensure vehicles meet final presentation standards before release.
- Follow structured checklists and maintain accurate documentation.
- What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in PDI, vehicle inspection, or automotive quality is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Ability to follow processes and work independently.
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach.
