We are currently recruiting for a qualified Aerospace Inspector to support a key aerospace programme based in Cambridge on an initial 3–6 month contract, with strong potential for extension.
Role
- You will be responsible for carrying out detailed inspection activities across aerospace components and assemblies, ensuring full compliance with strict industry and customer quality standards.
- This will include:
- Interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Inspecting electronic components, metal parts, and 3D printed components
- Carrying out inbound goods inspection and sub‑assembly checks
- Ensuring compliance with aerospace and defence quality requirements
- Recording inspection results accurately and maintaining data reporting systems
- Producing clear and accurate inspection and quality reports
- Supporting production and quality teams with non‑conformance investigations
Qualifications
- Must be a qualified Aerospace Inspector (essential)
- Previous experience within the aerospace or defence industry (essential)
- Strong working knowledge of AS9100 standards
- Experience within an EASA Part 145/Part 21 environment
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Experience inspecting complex components and assemblies
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data reporting experience
- Must be eligible to obtain security clearance
