Location: Darwen, Lancashire

Pay: Up to £18ph + £25pw Attendance allowance

Reporting to: Maintenance Manager

Hours of Work: 8am-5pm Monday Thursday & 8am-2pm Friday

Main Purpose of Job: Responsible for maintaining and improving all aspects of equipment and plant on site.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely maintaining all equipment in a modern fast paced heavy manufacturing environment
  • Assisting improvement projects to further increase output through better efficiencies
  • Electrical / Mechanical and also fitting work
  • Working with electro pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Fault diagnosis and repair
  • To adhere to all health and safety procedures

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

  • 18th Edition certification
  • Apprentice qualified
  • Multi skilled site electrician
  • Able to commission and test 3 phase industrial equipment installations, 2391, or 2394/5 qualified - Desirable
