Skilled Welder Fabricator – Coventry, West Midlands
Job Type: Full Time
Salary: Up to £20.00 per hour + £100 Attendance Allowance
Responsibilities
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings to fabricate and weld components.
- Perform MIG and TIG welding and plating tasks to a high standard.
- Maintain tight tolerances and meet output and quality standards.
- Work efficiently to meet or exceed production targets.
- Adhere to company procedures and health & safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure orders are completed on time and to customer specifications.
- Conduct and record regular maintenance and safety checks.
- Accurately mark up component parts as required.
Hours of Work
Monday to Thursday 6pm - 6am
Pay
£20.00 per hour + £100 Attendance Allowance per week (OTE £22 per hour)
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication.
- Coded to BS EN ISO9606-1 (fillet and butt weld).
- Strong MIG and TIG welding skills and ability to read complex engineering drawings.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of Health & Safety practices in an engineering environment.
