This is a fantastic opportunity for motivated and capable CNC Programmers/Operators that wish to progress within a dynamic and rapidly expanding engineering firm. We are in search of a talented CNC Programmer/Operator to strengthen our dedicated team. Candidates with experience in any of the following control systems Fanuc, Mazak, Heidenhain, Haas, or Siemens are strongly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
- Working within a predominantly medium to high batch machining cell
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production
- Expertly program, set‑up, and operate CNC machines using one or more of the specified control systems
- Choose and prepare the right tools and materials for each machining job
- Vigilantly monitor the CNC machines to guarantee consistent quality in production runs
- Conduct regular maintenance routines on machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate closely with our engineering and production teams, aiming for continuous process improvement
- Adhere to the highest safety standards and protocols
- Diagnose and resolve any challenges encountered during the production process
- Stay updated on advancements in machining techniques and control systems to uphold our industry‑leading standards
Knowledge, Skills, Experience
- Ability to program one of the following: Haas, Heidenhain, Mazak, Fanuc or Siemens
- 5+ years experience working within CNC programming
- Highest standards of H&S and Quality is essential
- Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings and deliver conforming parts
- Working with various materials including exotic grade alloys
- A detailed understanding of engineering drawing, tooling selection, work holding & cutting strategy is essential
- A good communicator at all levels, with the ability to integrate and support a successful team
