Your Role
- Financial Modeling: work with various financial models to evaluate opportunities, assess company valuations, and forecast financial performance.
- Conduct market research on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor analysis to provide insights to clients and senior dealmakers.
- Assist with the preparation of pitch books and presentations for potential clients.
- Due Diligence and conduct analysis to verify the accuracy of information provided.
- Provide execution support: draft transaction documents, prepare presentations for client meetings, and coordinate with various parties involved in the deal.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of company marketing documents through workshops with the client management team (e.g., executive summary, investment memorandum, investor presentation, financial model).
- Highly organized teamwork to manage a transaction process, including investor and buyer engagement throughout a road show, effective communication with the client and coordination of other advisors and service providers.
- Understand nuances of transaction structures and key elements of deal negotiation, including legal and other documentation.
- Build sector expertise and a network to promote the firm through publishing research reports, pitching for mandates, organizing and being involved in company events and attending public conferences.
- Provide training and support to other team members, particularly in transaction process and internal analytical models and tools.
- Assist clients in their chosen sectors in assessing strategic options, with the ability to be hired as a financial advisor if the client elects to proceed with a relevant transaction, supporting them throughout each phase of the process.
Your Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or economics.
- Previous experience fully involved in M&A transactions, preferably at a bulge bracket or boutique bank.
- Strong financial modelling and drafting skills with strong numeracy.
- Microsoft Office skills and basic understanding of accounting.
- FCA regulated.
Your Qualifications
- Fluency in French and English.
- Master’s degree in finance, economics or STEM.
- Tech sector exposure.
