Executive Assistant to CEO (Maternity Cover) Full-Time | Bournemouth (Hybrid - 3 days in the office)
Duration: This is a fixed term maternity cover role expected to last approximately 12 months, or until the return of the substantive postholder.

Your Mission
As Executive Assistant, you will serve as the connective tissue and operational stabiliser for Tom Gozney (CEO/Founder) and Chief of Staff. The Executive Assistant ensures the CEO/Founder’s time, focus, communication and environment are optimised so he can operate at highest impact. The EA becomes the primary point of coordination between the CEO/Founder, Chief of Staff and the wider organisation (Gozney Family Office, Gozney and external networks). This role blends high-level strategic support with meticulous execution - part air-traffic control, part relationship manager, part practical assistant.
You will:
- Act as the day-to-day operational concierge for all aspects of the CEO/Founder’s professional and personal workflow.
- Remove friction, anticipate needs and ensure communication and commitments flow seamlessly.
- Support the Chief of Staff across the Gozney Family Office’s strategic projects.
- Provide support and light-touch management for Chief of Staff and wider C‑Suite calendars and workflow.
- Align constantly with the wider C‑Suite and Chief of Staff to ensure that priorities, actions and information move coherently across the leadership system.
- Enable the CEO/Founder to dedicate maximum attention to top strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage complex diaries across multiple time zones and domains (personal and professional) anticipating conflicts, making proactive adjustments and being the gatekeeper of the CEO/Founders time.
- Full inbox management, including triage, drafting communications and organising correspondence for effective prioritisation.
- Supporting the accountant with light bookkeeping, monthly payroll processes and expense management.
- Oversee task management across the CEO/Founder, own workload and key projects, creating clarity, accountability, prioritisation and consistent follow-through.
