We have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Engineer to join our CoLab team here in Birmingham.
Within this role you will support lawyers and clients in using legal technology effectively, providing responsive guidance and troubleshooting across a range of solutions. The role also involves delivering legal tech projects, supporting product pilots, and promoting new tools through training, demos and one‑to‑one support across the firm.
We’re looking for a proactive self‑starter who is enthusiastic, quick to learn and keen to bring ideas to the team. You’ll have a genuine interest in the business of a law firm, and the role technology plays within it, alongside strong written and verbal communication skills and the confidence to engage with a range of audiences.
You’ll be highly collaborative and adaptable, comfortable working with stakeholders across different teams and locations, and able to balance multiple priorities with a logical, detail‑focused approach. Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills are essential, as is good IT literacy, including MS Office and an interest in developing your knowledge of legal technology. Experience in a legal or legal technology environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
