About the role: The role will provide exposure to an incredibly varied range of commercial disputes and an opportunity to work closely with Partners and senior members of the team across the UK and in our international offices.
About you: We have a great opportunity for a Commercial Disputes Lawyer to join our team in Birmingham. We are looking for someone who has:
- Ability to deliver a great experience to clients, maintain ongoing communication, and build strong, trusted and effective relationships.
- A qualified solicitor (minimum 3 PQE).
- Support partners and senior solicitors on complex disputes, whether in litigation, arbitration or other forums.
- Issue proceedings and manage all interlocutory stages through to trial, demonstrating strong attention to detail in the preparation of documents and evidence.
- Instruct and liaise with witnesses, expert witnesses, and counsel as required.
- Produce precise, concise drafting in correspondence and evidence.
- Experience of commercial disputes, preferably including post-M&A disputes, professional negligence claims, and commercial contract disputes.
- A proactive approach to case management and a willingness to undertake a demanding caseload and remain calm under pressure.
