The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a qualified, experienced, talented and highly motivated Lecturer of Law to join our Business & Technology Learning Area. The successful candidate will be able to deliver and assess on our Level 3 Access to Law (part of Agoreds Access to Humanities & Social Science Diplomas). Approximately 8 – 12 hours per week (no fixed working hours, ad hoc basis, provide sickness cover or temporary cover). Fixed term until May 2026. You will be paid a month in arrears (e.g. hours worked in July paid in August). £18.23 – £35.89 per hour at Gorseinon campus.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and assess on A Level Law and related Law subjects within vocational specifications (Business is desirable).
- Deliver high quality teaching and learning, effectively monitor and track learner progress, creating a positive environment to enable all learners to reach their full potential in terms of academic, social and personal development.
- Commit to continuous improvement, contribute to curriculum development, extracurricular activity, and assist with planning and marketing of courses.
About You
- Possess a relevant Degree in Law or related degree.
- Experience teaching A Level Law (essential).
- Hold a recognised teaching qualification or willing to work towards this qualification.
- Ability to effectively deliver and assess on all curriculum identified.
- Be prepared to work flexibly to meet the needs of the curriculum.
- Be enthusiastic and inspirational in taking these subjects forward within the college curriculum offering.
