We have six campuses across the city with over 4,000 full time learners and 10,000 part time learners. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, talented and highly motivated individual to teach AS and Level 3 Applied Diploma in Medical Science Qualification. Fractional 0.5 (18.5 hours per week) Fixed term until 31st May. £13,000 - £25,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience) FTE £26,000 - £51,000, Gorseinon Campus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working as part of a team to develop and employ a variety of teaching, learning and assessment strategies.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide effective feedback throughout the academic year.
  • Ensure excellence in teaching and learning is a key priority for the College.
  • Make a full contribution to team meetings and have a positive impact on the overall quality of this subject area.
About you:
  • Possess an undergraduate degree in Biology or equivalent subject.
  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification or be working towards one.
  • Able to demonstrate successful experience of teaching in a post-16 setting.
  • A very confident communicator and committed individual who can manage and inspire learners of all abilities.
  • Excellent organisational skills and a team player.
