The vibrant Visual Arts department, based at our Llwyn y Bryn Campus, is seeking an experienced florist to deliver part-time classes to adult learners. This is a fantastic opportunity to share your expertise, ignite creativity, and help others grow their skills in the art of floristry.
Responsibilities
- Planning and preparing short courses to deliver to adult learners
- Working closely with Curriculum Leaders to ensure quality processes are adhered to
- Ensuring teaching and learning strategies and materials are accessible to meet the varied needs of all learners
- Able to create a range of displays and floral arrangements, including wreaths, bouquets, buttonholes, and centrepieces
- Able to work with cut flowers and artificial flowers
- Passionate about working sustainably
- Experience of teaching adults
- Teaching/Training qualification, or be prepared to work towards one

Contract Details
- Hourly paid contract
- 3 hours per week (Friday afternoons)
- Fixed term for 6 months
- £17.53 – £34.51 per hour
- Location: Uplands, Swansea
- Interviews will take place on Monday, 15th September, involving delivering a presentation and bringing a portfolio of images of your work
