We are seeking a highly motivated and results‑driven Senior Account Executive to join our Training Sales team on a fixed‑term maternity cover contract from September 2026 for approximately nine months. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling tailored training solutions to public‑sector organisations, identifying client needs, and recommending the most appropriate learning and development programmes from our extensive portfolio. Working consultatively, you will build strong relationships with decision‑makers, identify client needs, and recommend training solutions that deliver value and support organisational objectives. The successful candidate will be an experienced B2B sales professional with a proven track record of achieving targets, developing client relationships, and managing a healthy sales pipeline.
Duties include:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth through the sale of bespoke training programmes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers across public‑sector organisations.
- Identify client training requirements and recommend tailored learning solutions.
- Be fully conversant with a range of our products and be prepared to make a large number of pitches to secure business.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of agreements to close sales and achieve revenue targets.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance and recommendations on the most suitable training programmes to meet their specific requirements.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date sales pipeline.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Essential skills and requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a B2B sales environment with a proven track record of achieving targets.
- Excellent and confident telephone sales manner.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and the public‑sector industry.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
