Start or grow your engineering career in the railway industry. We're looking for an Assistant Service Engineer Level 2 to join our Repair Shop team at Selhurst. What You'll Be Doing

  • Carrying out repair work and routine maintenance to required standards
  • Performing fault finding and diagnostics on rolling stock
  • Completing component changes and heavy lifting activities where required
  • Undertaking mechanical, electrical or vehicle-building repairs identified during examinations
  • Working collaboratively as part of a high‑performing engineering team

What We're Looking For

  • Transferable experience in engineering, mechanical or electrical environments
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work safely in a fast‑paced, safety‑critical environment
  • Physically fit and able to pass a medical to engineering standards
  • Able to pass DP Track and PTS certification (unless already held or exempt)
