We're looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to shape and lead our always-on digital performance activity across paid social, paid search and programmatic display. This is a hands‑on role with genuine autonomy. You'll define and deliver day‑to‑day performance activity, using data, judgement and testing to drive sustainable growth across our digital sales funnel. You'll work closely with a dedicated digital agency team and collaborate with colleagues across Campaigns, Brand & Content, CRM and Digital to ensure performance activity complements wider marketing campaigns and delivers measurable impact.

This role will suit someone who enjoys being close to performance data, making decisions day to day, and improving results through testing and optimisation. The scope is broad and varied, from optimising always‑on PPC and paid social for large-scale UK brand campaigns, to activating performance activity that supports international travellers arriving through the airports we serve. It's a role with visibility, pace and room to broaden your performance remit.

You’ll help drive incremental revenue growth from paid digital media, within agreed ROI parameters and strong performance across GTR-owned digital channels.

You’ll take ownership of:

  • Performance-led optimisation across digital touchpoints, informed by insight and testing
  • Working with agency partners to challenge thinking, prioritise effectively and continuously improve results

What you'll bring:

  • 3–5 years' experience in digital or performance marketing (client or agency side)
  • Proven experience delivering performance activity that drives measurable commercial outcomes
  • Hands‑on experience with platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, Google Analytics and Search Console (or equivalent)
  • A solid understanding of how SEO supports performance marketing
  • Experience operating in high-volume B2C environments (travel, transport, retail or leisure advantageous)
  • A data‑led, commercially minded approach with a strong test‑and‑learn mindset
  • Confidence working with agencies and senior stakeholders
