What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out maintenance, repairs and examinations on rolling stock
- Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults
- Undertaking component changes and heavy lifting activities where required
- Completing additional repairs identified during examinations
- Responding to failed units when required
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Supporting and mentoring new team members
- Working collaboratively to deliver fleet availability and performance targets
What We’re Looking For
- Apprenticeship served, engineering qualification, or transferable engineering experience
- Experience in fault finding, maintenance or repair activities
- Strong focus on safety, quality and teamwork
- Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills
- Physically fit and able to meet engineering medical standards
- Able to obtain Personal Track Safety (PTS) and Depot Protection (DP Track) competence
