We have a great opportunity to join our engineer team in our Selhurst Depot. If you have previous experience and are looking for a new adventure, this role also offers all shifts (Early, Late & Nights). You will be responsible for carrying out and coordinating routine maintenance & repairs in line with the grade and current maintenance plan requirements as directed by your Production Leader.

- Comply with safety systems and procedures at all times
- Update maintenance records within company systems
- Carry out non-maintenance related activities (e.g. Crane, Forklift etc.) as directed by your Production Leader and where competent to do so
- Carry out all other duties where trained and competent to do so
Qualifications
- Must be able to achieve ASE2 vehicle builder competency
- A minimum of two and half years of relevant engineering experience inclusive of training
- Reasonable understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles including interpreting technical drawings and plans
- Be able to meet the requirements of a job specific medical
- Able to meet the competency requirements for safety and task specific training
- Familiar with (or able, with training, to become familiar with) rolling stock maintained or repaired by GTR
- Be willing to learn new skills appropriate to the role
- Proficiency in carpentry, joinery and metalwork
- Positive and professional attitude with good working relationships
