About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and innovative Conference Producer to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role is based in London (Aldgate), with 2 days of remote work per week, offering flexibility and collaboration.
You’ll take ownership of our flagship conferences, dinners, and webinars, crafting compelling content agendas, acquiring high-calibre speakers, and conducting in-depth market research to ensure the success of our events.
As a Conference Producer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the conversations that define the future of public sector transformation – working closely with our Head of Government Partnerships & Insight, and Content Director to engage government across our key areas of focus: digital transformation, citizen services, data & AI.
What You’ll Do
- Content Creation: Develop thought-provoking agendas and themes that address key challenges and opportunities in public sector transformation.
- Market Research: Talk to our community of senior government digital, data and technology (DDaT) executives and conduct detailed research using interviews, internal resources, and industry insights to identify trends and produce briefing documents.
- Speaker Acquisition: Secure influential and high-profile speakers from government, enterprise technology firms, and academia, ensuring diverse representation.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with sponsors, partners, and attendees to enhance the overall event experience.
- Event Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, and sales) to deliver seamless events from inception to delivery.
- Post-Event Engagement: Analyse attendee feedback and industry trends to optimise future event planning.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in conference production, event management, or related fields, with a track record of delivering impactful events.
- Market Research Skills: Ability to synthesise research findings into actionable insights that shape event content and strategy.
- Exceptional Communication: Strong written and verbal skills for liaising with stakeholders and creating compelling event materials.
- Speaker Recruitment Expertise: Demonstrated ability to identify, approach, and secure top-tier speakers.
- Event Management: Detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of the Public Sector: Familiarity with the public sector and enterprise technology markets is highly desirable.
