As a finance professional you will support our commercial colleagues on procurement activity and in-life management of contracts. Our team supports over £11bn of public sector contracts. We help our customers in designing payment methodologies for new procurement activities, supporting financial evaluation strategies, playing a key role in the procurement process and contract negotiations, and supporting commercial colleagues during contract implementation and live running to ensure we obtain the best value for money in our programmes.
We have an exciting opportunity for an SEO Commercial Finance Analyst within the Commercial Directorate. The role will be to support:
- Commercial Finance engagement on major program procurements (ranging from hundreds of millions to multi-billion pound contracts).
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships across DWP with senior stakeholders in Finance, Commercial and Policy communities to demonstrate a clear understanding of the strategic direction of Commercial Finance.
- Act as a trusted partner to commercial teams as they manage supplier’s commercial agreements.
