We require a Microsoft 365 (M365) application administrator to support the in-house Microsoft team with processing various application queries.
The applications administrator will monitor service requests logged for the team and provide support to staff across the department, as per their requirements. You’ll guide users through best practice, championing M365 solutions where possible.
You should have experience of using the Microsoft admin centre, as part of the role will require using the Teams and SharePoint admin centres to carry out activities such as checking permissions and amending group settings.
You will work with our M365 applications engineer team to implement changes and support staff. As part of this role, you’ll actively promote the use of M365 applications, helping the department make the most of the M365 applications that are available.
Main responsibilities
You will:
- Work with the Microsoft 365 team to improve ways of working in the organisation using Microsoft 365 solutions such as Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Planner, Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, Lists, SharePoint and other Microsoft applications
- Assist with training and adoption of new Microsoft 365 solutions and processes including delivery and creation of training plans, materials and documentation
- Assist with monitoring the M365 support network in Microsoft Teams, posting regular announcements relating to M365 updates and responding to questions posted by colleagues across the department
- Provide technical user support for incidents escalated from the helpdesk and resolve system / application issues relating to Microsoft applications and tools, including SharePoint, Planner, Power Automate, Power Apps and Microsoft Forms
- Work with the Microsoft 365 team to develop, manage and implement the Microsoft 365 roadmap, leveraging new platform innovations as they are released
- Assist the technical team in delivering projects such as migrations, upgrades and application deployments
