We are looking for a creative and motivated Videographer to join the Prime Minister’s digital team at 10 Downing Street. Reporting to the Senior Videographer and working within a team led by the Chief Videographer, you will play an important role in producing engaging video content that supports the Prime Minister’s communications strategy across No.10 and UK Government channels.
You will work closely with the Video Editor and other team members to deliver high-quality, timely video content. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical skills and a passion for visual storytelling who is looking to develop their career in a fast-paced, high-profile environment. Responsibilities:- Support the Senior Videographer and Chief Videographer in delivering video content for the Prime Minister, No.10, and UK Government channels, ensuring alignment with the team’s video strategy.
- Film and edit a range of video content, including live events, interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and digital campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Video Editor to ensure all content is delivered to a high standard and optimised for different platforms and audiences.
- Assist in the planning and execution of shoots, including setting up equipment, lighting, and audio.
- Stay up to date with digital trends and best practices in video production, bringing fresh ideas to the team.
- Deliver shortform, social first video optimised for different platforms and audiences.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines.
- Execute high-level filming, editing, colour grading and audio mixing to the highest standards.
- Work professionally and discreetly around senior leaders and high-profile individuals.
- Contribute creative thinking to drumbeat and set video pieces, helping shape the long-term visual identity of the Prime Minister online.
- Run livestreams working with external delivery partners to ensure that they are high-quality and accessible.
