We are looking for a creative and motivated Digital Content Producer to join our Internal and Digital Communication teams. This is an exciting opportunity to work across high‑profile internal and external channels, producing high‑quality, newsworthy and engaging content that supports our strategic objectives and enhances the Home Office’s reputation. You’ll have a creative and innovative mindset, with a drive to help shape and improve the Home Office’s digital content.
You will deliver video, photography, events and multimedia content for internal campaigns, social media, and external platforms. Working closely with colleagues in Internal Communications, Digital Strategy and senior leadership, you will help shape compelling stories that inform, inspire and connect with our audiences. This is a rare chance to join the Home Office Communications Directorate and be a part of a highly creative team that produces powerful and engaging content, bringing significant stories to life.
Key responsibilities- Create engaging content for internal channels and external platforms ensuring it aligns with strategic priorities and audience needs.
- Plan, produce and edit video and photography from events, campaigns and leadership communications, supporting the Home Office ministerial team and Permanent Secretaries.
- Lead multi‑camera event setups for hybrid internal events with senior leaders, ensuring high‑quality production and seamless delivery.
- Support digital campaigns, ensuring content aligns with Home Office brand and tone.
- Manage and optimise social media content, including senior leadership profiles.
- Work closely with internal teams, frontline staff, and external partners to ensure content aligns with the department’s messaging and objectives.
Working Pattern: Due to the business requirements of this role, it is only available on a full‑time basis.
Travel: The post‑holder will be required to travel within the UK for projects, meetings and events.
