We are looking for a Marketing Manager to create engaging external communications that support behaviour change campaigns and promote DVSA’s vision, priorities and services. You will deliver responsive social media management, develop proactive story content, and produce high-quality, direct-to-consumer digital communications to inform, engage and support audiences effectively.
As a Marketing Manager, you will provide a highly responsive and reactive social media handling capability, as well as proactively creating and seeding stories, and developing quality ‘direct-to-consumer’ content using digital and social media. You will ensure all communications activity is insight-driven and fully evaluated.
Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:
- Managing campaign channels, providing responsive and professional engagement with our audiences
- Creating compelling content for social media, blogs, email campaigns, and other digital channels
- Developing proactive story ideas that promote DVSA campaigns, products and services
- Using insight and evaluation data to inform our approach and refine campaign messaging and channel choices
- Staying current with digital trends and platform developments, testing new approaches to reach our audiences
- Monitoring social media conversations and audience behaviour to identify what’s working and what needs to change
- Working with colleagues to ensure our content meets the needs of different audiences, including learner drivers, driving instructors, and parents
- Coordinating with internal teams and external partners to deliver integrated marketing activity
- Ensuring all content meets Government Digital Service accessibility standards and reaches diverse audiences
- Tracking campaign performance against agreed objectives
- Reporting on what’s working and recommending improvements based on evidence
- Contributing to evaluation reports that demonstrate the value of our communication
