The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Commercial Directorate is recruiting two Higher Executive Officer (HEO) Commercial Support roles within the Commercial Operations and Strategy (COS) function. The roles are pivotal in supporting DWP’s commercial transformation, ensuring compliance with public procurement regulations, and driving innovation and efficiency.

As part of the COS function, you will work in a fast-paced environment, supporting changing business priorities and collaborating across teams. The job will include a range of duties including, but not restricted to, the following:

  • Interpret and apply the public procurement regulations and DWP commercial, data and security policies within guidance, systems and controls.
  • Maintain and update commercial end to end systems, guidance, templates, and process flows.
  • Analyse commercial data to support the wider commercial function.
  • Use digital tools and systems (MS SharePoint, MS Co-Pilot and e-Procurement Systems) to automate and streamline processes.
  • Communicate complex information clearly and effectively and improve stakeholder adoption of standard commercial systems, products and processes.
  • Understand technical commercial system integration across the commercial lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
  • Support team priorities, resilience and deliver to deadlines.
  • Promote inclusive leadership, share best practice, and drive personal development.
