About Contract Management and Partner Delivery
Contract Management and Partner Delivery (CMPD) manages DWP’s multi-billion-pound contracts and grants with suppliers and local authorities delivering employment support, health assessments, and financial support to vulnerable citizens.
About HAAD (Health Assessment Account Division)
HAAD manages the new Functional Assessment Service (FAS) contracts, created from restructuring WCA / Specialist Benefits and PIP health assessment contracts, aiming to deliver excellence in performance and customer service.
The division collaborates across various professions within DWP, ensuring vulnerable claimants are treated with care and respect.
Frequent travel, including overnight stays, is required.
Role Overview
We are recruiting 3 Account Managers. As an Account Manager, you will be a senior leader within HAAD, supporting delivery of CMPD and DWP goals, and role modelling a culture of excellence.
You will manage contracted providers to ensure effective, compliant contract management, influencing providers to deliver high-quality, cost-effective services, and ensuring value for money for UK taxpayers.
You will operate with autonomy, build relationships across CMPD and the wider department, and gain the confidence of senior leaders within the provider community.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage contracted providers to deliver high-quality outcomes for customers.
- Lead and motivate a geographically dispersed team, providing visible leadership and support.
- Act as the main point of contact for performance management of contracted services.
- Ensure provider compliance with standards, terms, and expectations.
- Challenge and address performance issues to ensure value for money.
- Drive continuous improvement, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of feedback and learning.
- Lead initiatives to improve quality, consistency, and timeliness of service delivery.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior positions.
