We have an exciting opportunity to join our Customer Service Centre Team as an Executive Officer (EO) Data Analyst. This role offers a unique development opportunity for capable and ambitious candidates who want to broaden their skills in a dynamic and fast paced environment. The main focus of the role is the effective handling and analysis of Animal Movement Reports. You will create and run reports to support the veterinary team during suspected or confirmed disease cases, enabling informed decision making during outbreaks. You’ll also coordinate a team of volunteers from across APHA, providing training on how to run these reports and ensuring business continuity.

As the post holder, you will carry out duties aligned to the grade and purpose of the role, including:

  • Providing consolidated animal movement reporting data during suspected or ongoing disease investigations
  • Coordinating the AMR volunteer team, delivering training, and supporting succession planning across data systems, MI tools, and animal movement platforms
  • Analysing data to identify risks, trends, concerns, and recommendations
  • Investigating and resolving data issues or inaccuracies
  • Creating and maintaining Management Information (MI) to monitor performance, highlight compliance issues, identify training needs, and propose improvements
  • Delivering ad‑hoc data requests and information as required
  • Working closely with colleagues and stakeholders to share best practice
  • Collaborating with digital teams to keep reporting tools up to date and aligned with wider work
  • Supporting auditing and data management activities
