The estate spans 1.4 million square metres across 800+ sites and supports around 78,000 colleagues. We are responsible for the day-to-day operation of our vast Estate by managing a private sector supply chain that delivers essential services such as Security Guarding, Maintenance, Property and Leasehold Management, Construction, Cleaning and Facilities Management.
Key accountabilities:
- Strategy and Policy: Support the implementation and delivery of the Estates’ Social Value strategy, including governance.
- Support the delivery of and act as an advocate for the DWP’s central Social Value policy and strategy.
- Be a Subject Matter Expert for social value, trends and liaison across the department.
This role will help raise the profile, understanding and importance of Social Value internally with key stakeholders, helping it embedded within DWP.
