We are looking for a Recruitment Marketing Service Lead and a Recruitment Continuous Improvement Service Lead to join the Recruitment Hub. We provide a recruitment service to Department for Transport (DfT) Group, which includes DfTc, DVSA, DVLA, MCA, VCA, and ATE.

We have two teams in Recruitment Hub that support our recruitment operational services:
- Recruitment Continuous Improvement
- Recruitment Marketing
We are looking for two people to lead these teams:
- Recruitment Continuous Improvement Service Lead – this individual looks at new and innovative ways to improve recruitment across DfT Group. You will work with Recruitment Hub and our customers to identify and implement recruitment service, process, and policy improvements, ensuring that activity is aligned to business requirements and priorities. You will utilise your networks to keep up to date with the latest recruitment trends, techniques, and technology, ensuring that DfT is at the forefront of recruitment innovation.
- Recruitment Marketing Service Lead – this individual provides expert marketing and branding advice and support across DfT Group. You will work with Recruitment Hub and our customers to identify and implement marketing opportunities, promoting DfT Group as a great place to work and ensuring that we attract the best talent. You will work with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and strategic priorities, including diversity and inclusion targets, so that all marketing and branding activity is aligned with this.
The responsibilities for both these roles will include, but aren’t limited to:
- Leading your team and direct line management responsibility for 1 HEOBuilding and maintaining excellent relationships with key stakeholders across DfT Group to understand their recruitment and strategic requirements.
- Building and maintaining excellent relationships with Recruitment Hub operational colleagues to understand their challenges and requirements.
- Ensuring that your team’s activities are aligned to stakeholder needs and business priorities, often managing conflicting demands.
- Ensuring that your stakeholders are kept up to date on team activity.
- Using data and expert knowledge to inform team activities and decisions.
- Plan and prioritise workloads and ensure delivery on time. Manage stakeholder expectations when necessary.
- Contract management responsibility for third party suppliers.
