We are seeking a real foodie who will thrive working alongside the Trust Catering Manager to develop an outstanding in-house catering service. Assisting in the delivery of quality food across all trust schools by providing on site craft support, training and development to the on-site catering teams. You will be a natural with menu development and comfortable in supporting the schools with themed events, parents evenings and open days. As part of the role, you will be expected to manage and administrate the catering service operations within the Trust across multiple sites. Implementing procedures and continuous improvement will be key to our success and you must be comfortable leading and supporting catering teams to develop their catering service.
Key responsibilities and requirements include:
- Experience of managing a multi-site catering provision
- A good knowledge of HACCP\’s and COSHH
- Supervisory or team leadership experience
- The ability to implement food safety to a high standard
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- A full driving license and the willingness to work at different sites
