The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

You will be working in a team of arboriculturists and landscape professionals, with varied duties including undertaking tree surveys and tree inspections and providing specialist advice to the Planning service on development proposals, Tree Preservation Orders (TPO) and works to trees in Conservation Areas. You will be working alongside experienced Senior Tree Officers, providing an opportunity to further develop your professional skills and experience in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake tree surveys and tree inspections.
  • Provide specialist advice to the Planning service on development proposals, Tree Preservation Orders (TPO) and works to trees in Conservation Areas.
  • Work alongside Senior Tree Officers to develop professional skills in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Qualifications

  • A nationally recognised arboricultural qualification at Level 4.
  • Experience in tree inspection.
  • Up to date knowledge of planning and environmental legislation and common law in relation to trees and hedges.

If successful, you will be required to undertake and pass an in-house driving assessment as part of our pre-employment checks before any offer of appointment can be confirmed.
