We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Family Hub Lead Officer to manage a team of Best Start Inclusion Practitioners working across our Family Hubs and network sites. This rewarding role focuses on supporting children aged 0 to 5 with emerging or identified additional needs and helping families access the right support at the earliest possible opportunity.
By working directly with children, parents and carers, the Best Start Inclusion Practitioners will play a key role in promoting inclusion, reducing barriers to accessing services, and improving outcomes for young children across Redcar and Cleveland. As a visible and accessible presence within our Family Hubs, community settings and family homes, you will help families understand their child's needs, navigate local services and access early intervention support through a strength-based, family-centred approach.
The successful candidate will have substantial experience of working with children aged 0-5 years and families in a variety of settings. They will hold a minimum of a NVQ Level 4 qualification in a relevant subject to working with children and families. They will have proven experience of partnership working and experience in leadership and managing a team. You can demonstrate a good understanding of local issues affecting children, young people and their families.
