Overview
The Secretary of State for Health and Social Care is looking to appoint a Chair of the NHS Pay Review Body (NHSPRB). The NHSPRB provides advice to governments on annual pay uplifts for over 1.4 million NHS staff on Agenda for Change terms and conditions in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Responsibilities and Remuneration
As Chair of the NHSPRB you will be responsible for chairing meetings and leading the NHSPRB in providing evidence‑based recommendations to governments on this contested and complex policy area. The remuneration will be £550 per day for the preparation and attendance of meetings and visits, for a time commitment of approximately 20 days per year. The Secretary of State for Health and Social Care will determine the length of appointment, which may be for up to a maximum of 3 years.
