As a member of the D&ICT Service you will provide support across the teams and your duties will include:
- Providing administrative support to the D&ICT Service including Business Operations and Senior Management Team Support;
- Carrying out purchasing and ordering activity in accordance with procurement procedures;
- Supporting the management of all D&ICT contracts and suppliers to support the delivery of the D&ICT Strategy.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, conscientious and self‑motivated person with excellent interpersonal and IT skills, with an interest in gaining experience of working in D&ICT. The D&ICT Service is committed to providing our employees with opportunities for development and career progression. We offer a structured apprenticeship programme with full support from a trained assessor to complete the qualification and a workplace mentor to provide on‑going support.
For this apprenticeship the following are required:
- Maths and English Level 2 Functional Skills or GCSE qualifications grade A to C (or 4 to 9).
- For those with an education, health and care plan or a legacy statement the apprenticeships English and Maths minimum requirement is Entry Level 3 and British Sign Language qualification are an alternative to English qualifications for whom this is their primary language.
