We are looking for an individual with significant traffic signals installation, maintenance, electrical testing and fault-finding experience to join the traffic signals and UTMC team to undertake traffic signal installation and maintenance functions across County Durham.

Responsibilities

WHAT IS INVOLVED? You will be responsible for undertaking traffic signal installation and maintenance functions including the identification and repair for traffic signal faults, inspections and electrical testing. You will have significant experience of the operation, installation, commissioning and testing of traffic signals and intelligent transport infrastructure. You will be able to work on your own using your own initiative to respond to, identify and rectify faults in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • City and Guilds 2330 in Electrotechnical Technology or equivalent
  • City and Guilds 2365 in Electrical Installation & 2329 testing and inspection certificate or equivalent
  • BTEC National Certificate (Electrical) or equivalent
  • Proven electrical experience related to traffic signals
