You will be lead member of a Ground Maintenance team carrying out high quality gardening and ground maintenance work, ensuring the team carry out all work in a safe manner following the Council\'s practices and procedures.
Qualifications
- NVQ 3 or equivalent in Horticulture, Arboriculture or other related discipline.
- CS 30/31- Chainsaw use + Felling small trees
- CS 38+39- Safe operation from a chainsaw from a harness inc. aerial rescue
- Full clean driving licence that is appropriate to the vehicles and plant they are expected to drive/operate. Please refer to the attached Person Specification for the full criteria.
If successful, you will be required to undertake and pass an in-house driving assessment as part of our pre-employment checks before any offer of appointment can be confirmed.
