Job Overview
We’re looking for Leisure Assistant Highers to join our team. This exciting role includes lifeguarding, swimming teaching, fitness instruction, and pool plant operations. You will support the Duty Manager by carrying out facility safety checks and ensuring the facility is clean and presentable for the public. You’ll play a key part in delivering safe, high‑quality activities and outstanding customer experiences. Training and development in RLSS NPLQ, Swim England teaching qualifications, fitness instruction, and the National Pool Plant Operator qualification will be provided if you wish to grow your skills in leisure.
Responsibilities
- Perform lifeguarding duties and water safety monitoring.
- Teach swimming lessons to a variety of groups.
- Deliver fitness instruction sessions.
- Operate and maintain pool plant equipment.
- Support the Duty Manager with daily operational tasks.
- Conduct regular facility safety checks.
- Ensure the facility is clean and presentable for visitors.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be entitled to work.
- Enhanced Child List DBS check required.
- Desire to learn and undertake training in RLSS, Swim England, and fitness instruction is preferred.
