Our Consultant in Care of the Elderly will play a pivotal role in the delivery of high-quality general medical care while helping to shape the development of frailty services for the Island of Jersey. This post sits within a newly formed Elderly Care and Frailty Department and combines inpatient ward commitments, outpatient clinics, MDT leadership and a rotational rehabilitation component, alongside participation in the General Medicine on-call rota.

Health and Care Jersey is the Government of Jersey department responsible for delivering specialist health care and running the Island’s general hospital. As a Crown Dependency, Jersey has its own independent health system and is not part of the NHS.
